Your mother was wrong. None of us were EVER called to sacrifice our children for the gospel. Our God never called for child sacrifice like the gods of the heathen in the Old Testament times did. NEVER!!!

I am so sorry Skylark for your pain and trauma. I admire your bravery in posting on here.

This statement really bothers me. I was going to let it go but I just can't. Here it is in part referring to NTM by Guineamk, "humbly bearing the heat and taking responsibility." I just can't get my head around this statement. I can't see the word "humbly" referring to NTM. Where is the evidence of humility on the part of NTM? Causing the abused to go to court doesn't remind me of humility. the Webster's seventh New Collegiate Dictionary gives this definition of humble, "to make humble in spirit or manner, to destroy the power, independence, or prestige of. Does that sound like NTM? I think not. Full stop.

AnotherMK, you are right on. We went thru that very recently and still hear about new cases.
Pamela, Humble??? You are so right. Humble people repent and do all they can to help those THEY victimized.
Wish we didn't have to be so negative.
But the negatives HAVE NOT BEEN RIGHTED yet.

And some of the recent leaders are STILLthe old school people who kept this environment going.
