Brian you have said some very nice things but I believe you are being used by NTM. NTM hopes their MKs are dumb enough to put their trust in you and let NTM off the hook.

If NTM wants people to believe then let them show their sincerity by paying for any of their MKs who want to come to the MK Safety Net Conference. They have refused to pay for anyone. Yet one of the best ways to help abused MKs to heal is to get together with other MKs who have been abused without interference from leaders of the mission.

If NTM really cares they will send their MKs to MK Safety Net Conference.

NTM is refusing the requests by MKs to fund their attendance at the MKSN conference in April?

Do you have the courage to come here to the Fanda Eagles Forums and say that publicly? You have been asked for help, and you REFUSE???
Step up and tell the world that. Or at least tell the hundreds (or thousands) of people who read this that you have been asked by adult MKs who were abused in your mission for financial help so they can attend this conference.
Tell us openly that you have refused to help, and how about also having the guts to tell us WHY you are refusing.

I am pretty sure I know what kinds of things were said behind closed doors about why you won't help.

Probably similar to other things that are said behind closed doors about this Fanda Eagles site, about MKs and their advocates who are crying out for justice, and about MKs who in desperation have contacted lawyers and filed lawsuits against your mission.

Yes, some of us know you pretty well. You can talk about change and you can write us letters about change, and about how much you want to help.

But some of us know you quite well. And that's rather scary, isn't it.

I'm very skeptical, Brian, very skeptical.
And the others have said it better than I can.
I have been abused by your leaders as an adult.
VERY recently in spite of all this change you talk about.
And my abusers are supposedly very respected in your organization.
How can that be happening?
And I am not the only one.

I was not abused as the MKs were.
But I CAN imagine their pain to some degree.
And I stand with them.
Are you offering REAL help?
Or are you being used by NTM?

Brian has written lovely words saying NTM wants to help etc etc.

Behind the scenes lawyers are asking for lawsuits to be dismissed and NTM will not help MK's abused in NTM schools by NTM members to attend the MK safety net conference to help the healing process.

Is this not another example of abuse by NTM? This time emotional abuse. "Oh we want to help" then behind closed doors another slap in the face. Are they just trying to look like they really do care? Again words and actions NO NOT connect.

Am I wrong in calling this more NTM abuse of an emotional kind of already abused people?

Come on Brian, Andy, Tibby, Larry....show that Brian's words are not just blah blah blah (meaningless twaddle at best, emotional abuse of the already abused at worst).

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. On this matter I would love to be proven wrong.

I am an outsider looking in, makes a person want to be blind. Full stop.

I'm putting this here to encourage us all. God is the God of all investigations. He knows the Truth no matter who stands in the way of justice. And that seems to be a lot of key people.

Sure, they want to be so helpful. They offer $10k for counseling, and then expect everything to be perfectly fine when that money runs out. They want to dictate and approve where the counseling is received, and don't care that some insurance companies cover those benefits anyway- making their offer obsolete. Never mind that I got just about that same amount from my tax return just for being a tax paying citizen. How about they move past the suffocating confines they created for defining what should be done for abused MKs, and find out what the MKs actually need from them. Personally, I want them to stop treating me like a rash they need to hide, ignore, and deny exists. They don't need to tarnish my name, or smear my character - my life has done that. They don't need to make me feel guilty for deciding to speak up - I struggle with that anyway.
