So the man who doesn't believe any real abuse took place, is going to be asked to tell me it did. I shall start baking the Humble Pie.

But seriously, if NTM does contact parents, that is a good move and deserves credit. For practicle purposes, finding parents is much easier to do and it does bring to their attention that the whole matter. Of course some parents will be deceased, so that will need to be considered.

Raz, I think clarity leads to forward movement. When we feel ambiguous it's often because we haven't pressed in enough to get the exact facts. Ambiguity is stressful. And we get scared to get the facts. The second someone reveals an abusive or concerning incident, start taking notes and get real info. Otherwise an abusive incident can turn into "Uncle Frank is a little creepy" instead of "call the police."

Perhaps I should of got Ernie the Pigeon out of retirement, although he is still nervous about being made into Pigeon Pie, after his last assignment and being eyed up by nostalgic MKs!

I work with a German colleague most of my on duty days. We have got to know each other quite well and she finds my sense of humour rather interesting and my life story fascinating.
The conversation got round to the war the other day. To my suprise my colleague was very open about this. She knows my past and my involvement with Fanda Eagles e.t.c., and drew comparisons about the issue of keeping silent.

oops wrong button. As I was saying, what she had to say was thought provoking. A lot more people knew what was going on than would ever admit to it. She was also saying that it could all have been stopped, if people had thought about where it was heading and had the courage to speak out, before it was too late.
My colleague went on to say that she has the deepest admiration for the efforts we are going to, too ensure this never happens again and to seek justice.
