At this nursing home up here, I went into to take care of a hospice patient. The nurses said, you ought to be glad you didn't have the last one. He was a pedophile who just wouldn't die. He was full of self hatred and very agitated, and had end stage COPD. After weeks of this, a social worker called the nephew who was a victim, and the nephew offered to come in. The man begged for his forgiveness. The pedophile still didn't relax after the visit. He was scared to death of what awaited him in hell. The chaplains were with him most of the time. One night in the middle of the night they found him face down on the floor beside his bed. He had been on his knees screaming to God when he died.

I wish all pedophiles were eaten up by such guilt, remorse and fear.

The pedophiles of my acquaintance have shown me that's not always the case.

Pedophiles are another breed all together......fear,guilt and remorse rarely feature in their emotional
make-up. Mostly devoid of natural human emotion.....thinking......

Just thinking.....NTM has had generations of these sort of people working in and running their organization... what more can we expect of NTM when they run the organization with a pedophiles mindset?

Wow......just had a wee moment there.....NTM leadership has become as bankrupted as the perverts they hide and environments they have cultivated.

Thanks for that interesting post All Better. I spent 22 years in cardiology and saw a fair share of death and dying, but most died of cardiac arrest due to tamponade or arrythmia so it was quick. Some died of heart failure, which has similar mechanisms as COPD. This is where the anoxic occurs and I can well imagine if you spent your life believing strongly in heaven and hell and then got to the end of your life realising you probably weren't going to heaven, then as your oxygen level dropped, it would well play havoc with the mind.
Being a bald type nurse I got the dubious priveledge of looking after some of the countries worst sex offenders. Some of these animals were just that, animals. Some were chained to the bed for very good reasons and no female nurse was allowed to go near them. Two in particular had a heavy aura about them, you sensed you were in the presence of something sinister and you were being watched for less than healthy reasons.
I've also brought patients back and that's a fascinating whole other field. Interesting being told what you were doing by someone who has left their body and watched you from the ceiling.
