From the "Andy and Tibby" thread:
Andy said: I'm not on our US executive board, but I work closely with several members & have been through thick and thin with them. As board members they cannot be reckless with NTM Inc, but they have been reckless with their own lives and well being in order to work through the GRACE report recommendations and push ahead on the next investigative process. I've seen the tears, not for NTM but for the survivors, and I know firsthand the determination to do what is right. I am not trying to imply here that NTM leaders should be pitied, but rather the pain and the determination I've seen first hand tells me I'm dealing with people of integrity.
How about a little update on how things have been going as the Executive Board recklessly works through the GRACE report recommendations, Andy! While you're at it, tell us when the recommendations were made, so we can see how the tears, pain and determination you've seen first hand works in real life.
I know, I know. A lot of people are so happy to see ANY progress that I will be viewed as a bitter and unforgiving cynic. I am neither, though I do admit that personal experience with NTM as well as their past performance on this issue, to say nothing of their continued defense of themselves in court - the ONLY place where it could really hurt them to be open and honest - raises grave doubts in my mind.
This is not the first time they have come out with wonderful letters and got everybody all teary eyed and supportive and impressed us with their new-found honesty, only to go quiet and do... absolutely nothing.
