It's very hard to watch if you are a parent.
I can't imagine if you lived thru the school experience yourself.
The B & W children running around instantly turned to color and became our kids and their friends.
It was terrifying to watch.
Because when we saw it
We knew so much more than we had known about our own experience
And that of our children.

Now because I lived it and am in some of the pictures I have a very different response somewhat like when I was a child. I see all my friends and see the happy faces and remember great times. The first time was very traumatic and I watched it alone, which for me was good, I didn't have to let anyone see my emotions. Raz if you want I will sit with you. So looking forward to see you and the others who are coming just a month away. Others if you still want to come you sure are welcome.

My Dear Dear Raz,

I would like to sit on the other side of you and hold the reserve box of tissues(if I was going, but alas I'm unable). Of course I'd like the lights to be out and I'd arrive late and leave early, as big boys don't cry

Actually I wonder how I'd feel sitting with a group of MKs after all these years. I usually sat alone or with the little kids, for the seats with colleagues my own age were saved for the more worthy. And so there we would sit listening to stories of a loving God, while someone kept flicking the back of my head and others thought it was hilarious. Strange childhood, strange place.

Oops I'm rambling again.

Pass the tissues....

We are in a big battle with missions and even the church as a whole to deal with child abuse, we are often discouraged. But as individuals I have seen great progress because we acknowledge the truth and accept it bad and good. We work to deal with all the lies we were told. We cry with each other, we laugh with each other. With each other we can be our true selves. Yes I expect many tears, even from those like Bemused who do it in the dark, but I also expect a lot of joy and laughter. There is nothing like a bunch of MKs together!

That somebody should have had their head flicked against another bully head. Sounds mean but guess I am mean. Full stop.
