Update:

Pii never was professional in dealing with me, not to the extent I would want them to be with formerly abused children. They were very unlike what I have read of GRACE. Pii was kind, but they obviously are not trained to speak with abuse victims. Their emails were investigative but very insensitive. When you're asking an abuse victim to share her story, you are asking her to relive the abuse. Please remember that.

The reason I'm writing now, is because although Pii sent me a report in December that claims they've concluded the missionary is guilty of sexual, physical, and mental abuse, and although it has been 3 months since the report was delivered to NTM, he is STILL A CURRENT MISSIONARY (I checked moments ago).

To NTM: I will release this report and all emails with Pii, unless you respond very, very quickly with an explanation of what you are doing with the information you received from me and other victims over three months ago.

I've been very, very patient with NTM. I know there are so many good things people in the organization. Many of them have my respect and I haven't wished to take NTM down.

But I'm reaching a breaking point with this. I need it to be over, and NTM isn't allowing it to be over (they've contacted me several times over the year to get my story, but with no result...I have asked them to leave me alone about it, but they do not. And yet, there. is. no. result.).

I'm waiting a bit longer, maybe a week, for a response (I contacted NTM through their website yesterday as well), and then I'm going to release the info I have.

I've learned that negative things need silence and darkness to survive. When truth and light enter, the "sin," or negative, dies. I'm ready for the truth to be in the light.

dreamwords, I am so sorry about this, how these abusers are still missionaries is absolutely outrageous. Why are the people in churches still supporting NTM I often ask myself. Full stop.
