Lori, you're in my mind a lot these days--please know that we care . . .im sorry that this process has been so painful. I was at the MKSafetyNet conference this last weekend--there are powerful men and woman that have heard this and together we are processing the systems/people involved to help make this better for survivors. Including who to talk to . . .thank you again! |

The "hurt" in quotes just nuts me up. When I talk to my parents, I can clearly hear their references to my "hurts" in air quotes. It is so patronizing. I have so much admiration for your strength and your courage, Lori. |

No. Hurt should not have been in quotes. No way. This letter does not convey contrition at all. I would know. I make mistakes all the time, so am familiar with apologies. I am sorry Lori for the bogus letter of apology you received. |

Interesting point. Just how many are reading our words of wisdom? Since we hit 4 million we have been averaging over 4000 hits per day. That's a lot of people. Of course not all progress to the fount of knowledge that flows in the forums, but just dip their toes in the stream briefly before carrying on, but given that all pages contains valuable info, there must be some considerable uptake of the gems of enlightenment therein. Are we going to the furthest corners of the globe to bring the message of healing for the past and safety for future generations of children to come? Verily I think we are and we do a calling that does us proud. I do agree with Aussie, to admit knowing that harm was being done to children and do nothing about it is appalling. Nothing wrong with having a rant, this is what this forum is for. Safe travels. |
