I've received quite a few messages and emails from many people: from friends, from acquaintances, from NTM missionaries, and from people who rebuke me -- and one common thread is that they all say they don't want to write on this forum because "it's not Christ-like," "where is the Holy Spirit in it? I can't find a single verse on it", "I don't want to add fodder," "Are they believers, those who post?", "I'm a NTM missionary - they'll throw me under the bus," and "they're only bitter on there - I don't want to be attacked."

Um....okay. So it's not a perfect, fuzzy, daisies-and-butterflies forum. This is a forum on abuse.

You'll find fallible (that's me), hurting, angry, depressed, hopeless people posting here.

You'll also find hopeful, encouraging, righteous, and, yes, even God-loving people posting here.

Anyway, so what if it's what you say? You're missionaries or missionary kids or connected to missions --- think of this as your mission field. It's your place to bring your Christ-like, Holy-Spirit-led, believing, kind self. Or.....better yet, bring your growing, learning, fallible, hopeful, listening, and perhaps sometimes questioning self.

Seriously. I really wish you would post the messages, emails, and texts you're sending me. They would be helpful to so many others. Look -- almost 6,000 have read this thread alone. You cannot know where God will take your words. You can even be anonymous!

But Christ would post on fanda eagles because it is about children,feelings ,pain,faith,loss of faith,supporting,caring and humanity . Maybe He has already. Who has enough narrow faith to say He hasn't?
It takes courage to post something meaningful and therein lies the real reason not to post, the lack of courage to speak out.

Sure, bring it on! Copy and paste Biblical texts!
