Ah, but when one is young, one believes the learned sages of adulthood, especially when they speak directly to god. It takes a bit of reality to work out that some of it wasn't true, in fact a lot of it wasn't true. Then one has the task of figuring out what bits were true and which weren't. It's like a complete mental rennovation, much easier to have built the mind correctly in the first place me thinks.
As for the letters after the name: BCS = Batchelor of Common Sense. The M.D. has an "a" in the middle. And the PHD is borrowed from my wife. The smart thing I did was marry a very smart woman
