It has the feel of a ghost town around here, doesn't it? I am praying for you all.

This verse came to my mind as I was (again) pondering and praying about this entire situation:

Ephesians 6:12 (New International Version)

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

So often, we can feel like we're just butting our heads with mortal man. But our battle is truly spiritual and truly is the Lord's. There is a lot at stake here- more, of course, than meets even our enlightened eyes.

Don't give up, dear friends!

It appears that it will take quite some time for everything to come to light on this forum. Just a few weeks ago there were 124 members and now 200. I understand the wearing aspect of this type of effort but it will pay off.

I agree with you, MK py, that it will pay off! It is hard work, and for those of you who have suffered such abuse to be laboring so hard to just be heard, I can't even imagine how wearying it is for you.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am still behind you and hoping to have a hand in supporting your efforts more in the future.

I've been re-reading some of the Stories on the home page of Fanda Eagles, and my heart is just breaking anew. I have thought of the song often that says, "Break our hearts, with the things that make Your heart break..." This is a prayer of mine for those who need their hearts softened toward the abuse that has happened and the aftermath of that abuse, and then, in dealing with all the wounded in a loving, Christlike manner. I can't help but think, as many others have said, that if the leadership of NTM could really envision in their minds *their own* children going through what many of you have suffered, things would be different. But then again, who knows. Some of their hearts may be so hardened that even their own children suffering like this would not spur them on to godly justice.

It is *because* of my children that I want to see all of you who have suffered abuse at the hands of NTM personnel be heard, really heard; be cared for; be shown you are worth the time and the effort it takes to make things as right as possible; and for these criminals to be given what they should have been given years ago. Because when I read your stories, I see my children's faces and the anguish of heart that I feel just IMAGINING if this happened to them is unreal.

I know some of you struggle to be heard within your own families, your parents still don't believe you or minimize what has happened to you. Your guilt and anguish have to be so compounded.

So when I posted the original post in this thread, it was with that in mind. That I wanted to just let you all know that I am supporting you and wanting to encourage you, and that there ARE people in this world who care.

Thank you for your compassion and caring heart for the Mks and families who have been devastated by the original sin of abuse and continue to be hurt by those who may not believe them or just don't want to deal with the issues. I can assure you that we will not be going away or remaining silent. We will be unrelenting in our efforts. I think we all are open to NTM doing the right thing.

I understand both points of view on this. The story can't end here, but for anyone that is in the thick of it, there needs to be a balance or an outlet otherwise it will be overwhelming. What happened to any of us in our past does not define us or force us to live as victims. But I know from experience how this can happend. Fighting for our rights while still living a joyful productive life is the most difficult thing, but so necessary. I pray Ornerys sister has a wonderful and joyful birth event and can celebrate life in a special way. He has been and will always be a good, caring loving brother.
