This is a talk given by Linda Davis about where Pii has been, and where the PiiSafe Foundation hopes to go in the future.

Truly independent investigations will require funding. My hope is that this noble dream of Linda and her group will take wings and soar!

Today DOES feel like a good day, Deja Do!

Not really surprised. It's an expensive exercise conducting an investigation of this size and with no funding stream, it makes it very hard. I doubt churches are going to put their hands in their deep pockets to fund any investigation and missions very unlikely, which only leaves individuals.

For me, the bottom line has always been, sexual abuse of children is a criminal act and should be dealt with by the law. If the law is not willing to look or is constrained by statute, then put pressure on to change the law or find another way or agency to do so. This has happened in quite a few western countries already.

Although a regretable development, there remains other doors. And for the sake of the children who will be abused in the future if we do nothing, do we not have a duty of care to knock and open?

I am so thankful Pii investigated ABWE. I was so very upset when ABWE fired Grace and hired Pii thinking they would protect ABWE but I was wrong. I am disappointed in their assessment of Jess Eaton but other than that I am just thankful. We are getting a few emails from some who knew our relationship with ABWE. I am not bitter but still upset they terminated us for insubordination for wanting to resign (our resignation was in their hands well before we found out they terminated us through a letter from our pastor) but allowed Dr. Donn Ketcham to tell his story however it suited him.
We have been thankful to be out of ABWE and it actually made us stronger people for what they did but it still didn't make it right. I can't believe Dr. Kempton blamed Satan knowing Dr. Ketcham's archilles heel for his actions. What rubbish. Fullstop.

What, Pii only lasted less than 3 months and now it is all over! Sorry victims, let down again! Bloody hell, what another disaster! So who are we supposed to trust?

Or is there more to this? Has someone leaned on them to shut up? Some of us know first hand what dirty tricks a desperate NTM will play!

Who are we supposed to trust? Oh yeah, we trust in God and everything will magically be tickerty boo and our tits will get untangled and our woes will go and He will send a miracle worker to administer justice and we can all forget it and move on singing Kum Bye Bye Yah diddly squat!
