Wouldn't we like to know
Who's reading what we write
Who's little screen is lighting up
In the middle of the night

And wouldn't we like to know
What thoughts it creates
The challenges, the fears
The freedom from heavy weights

Wouldn't we like to know
What effect we do share
And does it fall on ears
Who go on to also care

And wouldn't we like to know
If in minds lights go on
By our words of experience
Of days that have now gone

Oh we'd dearly love to know
If we've touched a heart or two
But we probably never will
For we know not who do view

But we do extend an invite
