Just checking.

I feels like we haven't heard from actual adult MKs who experienced abuse in NTM as children in a while. Many have posted here in the past, but not recently.

I am interested to know if this site is still providing any sort of help or encouragement to you, or if there are any of you still reading here.

Because I care.

Still reading, still writing and still very grateful for being able to work through the remaining residual mess left by the NTM experience as an MK.

Compared to where this ageing MK was pre discovering Fanda Eagles, much has changed for the better.

Oh, sorry, Bemused .... I didn't mean to imply you were not abused as an MK. I know you were.

I am trying to determine how many other MKs are still interested and following this website. There has been a great silence, when compared with the heavy traffic of a few years back.

I read the posts quite regularly. Don't have anything to say myself. Just read.

Thanks, Skylark. Please keep reading! I appreciate knowing you are there. Sometimes it feels like I'm just hearing myself echo.

:)

Oh survivors are out there somewhere
Some come in from the cold
But many are do not wish
Their stories to be told

Some are wandering aimlessly
Trying to forget and even forgive
But just existing in their own world
Having forgotten how to truly live

Others are in no fit state
To lift the lid on secrets hid
Hoping to manage their anger
And avoid the blowing of their lid

For some it's the shame
Others struggle for words to find
And for many it's a distant awful memory
Locked up in a foggy mind

So our role is to hold the door open
For we know not who will arrive
When some lost confused MK
Will reach out, in order to survive

Be not discouraged
Even when the days are long and quiet
For there are times of feast and famine
Of plenty and strict diet

What great encouragement. Thanks Bemused

Some days are quiet on MKSN sites too and others very busy. As long as we keep the doors open and the lights shining out brightly for any who want to come in. You are welcome if you don't want to talk that is OK but it is nice to know when you are here. I love FB because you can just press like when you want someone to know you are there.

Thanks for asking this question, Raz.

I would love to know if anyone is reading/ listening/ etc.

I know many have been encouraged.

And, yes, our pages and arms are OPEN!!!

Still reading the posts as I can...
Was in KAZAKHSTAN on a missions trip for two weeks first half of September.
Slow going catching up on all you guys write so I am not commenting on anything - just reading!

Heart is tired
Tired of pain
Pain hurts
Hurt does not fade
Fading into the shadows
Shadows need light
Light of God
God will come
Come now Light of God!
