I love that poem!

Most readers have probably noticed, I will type small, calm, friendly posts most of the time.

Then suddenly - bam! - :shock: - another passionate burst of many words comes flying out ... what I call my "rants".

Maybe that happens when I am fully loaded with everyone's freshly-charged batteries ... and I just can help myself! ;)

Oh there is a simple explanation here.
If you are using Downunder batteries to charge your light, you need to put them in the opposite way to those from north of the Equator. Otherwise the positive terminals from the Northernites might conflict with the negative terminals of the Southernites. This can cause fluctuations in the power output, or "rants" as you call them.

Or you could just put the batteries in any way you feel like and see what happens :D
