Out for a walk this sunny Autumn Missouri morning, I snuck up on a regal-looking Bald Eagle, perched on the branch of a leaf-bereft tree.

Eventually he spied me, and took off in a demonstration of majestic eagle flight, beating his mighty wings, climbing higher and higher in slow circles over my head. It was amazing, inspiring, and renewing to my spirit.

Thanks God, I needed to see this today.

Isaiah 40:31

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Teach me Lord, teach me Lord ... to wait.

Looking up "kiwi" in my Bible Dictionary.

Is that a bird, or a fruit? I believe God created both of those, but it appears Moses forgot to mention that when he wrote the book of Genesis.

As you soar with your Eagle friend, look closely at the birds down below. See them Australian Turkeys (the ones with the Cross(eyed)View), not to happy ay? Cuz turkeys don't vote for an early Christmas and Santa Julia has just announced one. Oh and that little other bird scurrying around with a big smile, that's a Kiwi, happy little bird isn't he?
