Booze numbs the pain too, just I wouldn't recommend it.

A big "I'm Sorry" would have eased the pain, but still some of us wait and wait. When organisations like Crossview try and deny their past with NTM and wash their hands of their part in this sordid mess, it begs the questions is this really a Christian Organisation?
Whatever it is, it is a disgrace to the many good Christian Organisations, who actually care and it is a disgrace to Jesus. The sooner it is shut down the better!!!! May God reek vengeance on them for all the harm they let happen and closed a blind eye to.

Too damning, huh? What a blow for GRACE. I was afraid this was going to happen. And the victims who so courageously told their story. The self-righteousness continues. Should we start a Facebook page to reinstate them?

I posted this GRACE Facebook post on my own page:

"Authentic repentance requires an offender to immediately & unconditionally surrender to law enforcement."

And I love my son's response:

"This means that to repent is to accept the consequence as fair and necessary. My kids need to hear this. Wait... I need to hear this. Somehow I (and my kids) seem to think we repent to get out of consequences, not step into them."

To those who act "repentant" in order to get out of consequences.

You are wrong.

Immediately and unconditionally surrender to law enforcement.

Anything less than that is unacceptable.

The only Triber who will surrender to law enforcement is those who are arrested and charged by law enforcement and that is not surrender that is called being captured, i.e. Scott Kennell.

Surely we have waited long enough for the results of investigations that are costing who knows how much of donors money to yield even one arrest?

But of course then the tired old argument comes out, "but they are all historical offenders and cannot be touched under U.S. law, because of the country of their crimes".
Rubbish, Scott Kennell was not a historic offender and nor was he turned in by NTM, he was intercepted by ICE and I am very sure it was not a member of NTM that led to that intercept.
Scott Kennell won't be the last active sex offender operating in NTM, there are noises of others, but still we wait for "true repentance".

If Boz is right and he is someone of great experience, each one of these paedophiles has on average 100 victims. Therefore for each one captured in mid career that is 50 children on average who will not be abused. And with modern technology each capture often brings about info on other offenders (who may have nothing to do with NTM) through electronic and other surveillance. Which is why we read of ICE picking up 180 foreign paedophiles in one raid in Thailand. Doing the math that is about 9000 kids that will not be abused because ICE got these abusers off the streets. And that is just one raid that we have read about.
Of those 9000 kids, how many would have gone on to have traumatic lives, how many would have suffered infections, been suicidal, died young or gone on to be abusers themselves?

And so given those figures, how can we sit on our affluent backsides in comfortable surroundings and say it is not our problem and that there is no point in speaking out? Some of us have spoken out, some of us have given our time and knowledge to those who really will help clean up this worldwide mess and some of us have seen the beginning of what we thought was impossible 2 years ago commence.
Scott Kennell got 58 years for what he did, there is plenty more room waiting for others like him, but they will not join him unless "true repentance" is forced out of NTM and it's long long list of sex offenders, because it sure ain't going to come out any other way.
