I am sad to say there has not been a big response from parents, at least not that I have been made aware of.

I am grateful there are a few, like yourself, who are open to the message of this letter.

Thank you! for your open and honest letter to parents. I sit here and consider my kids and the compromises that I make in the hope that in the end they will turnout able to stand on their own too feet, my compromises are small compared to parents on the field. I know that my wife would have had great difficulty in placing her loved ones into the care of others. but compromises have to be made to reach the lost some should NEVER have been made but in faith you TRUST in your LEADERS and those who they have put their TRUST in.

today I read on g.r.a.c.e´s facebook page a question... There is a difference between niceness & trustworthiness. Niceness is a decision, not a character trait. Many sex offenders are "nice (I know rabbit trail but worth considering)

Its been many years since we were missionaries but as I look back and consider things NTM was more legalistic than GRACE lead back then and this saddens my heart these Leaders should never pressed their young missionaries into their will and direction as if they were in control of the spirit of god

I remember at bootcamp people coming up to me and telling me to smile and dont disagree with them the leaders and you will be out of here on your way Camdenton so in order for me to move forward I had to compromise on honesty and integrity in order to get out of legalistic boot camp.

Our children are in our homes for only a short time please dont compromise on their upbringing they will RESENT YOU for the rest of their lives

Meanwhile we have time on earth
To right wrongs of the past
To live and love every day
As if it were our very last

To paint the world purple
Or just a fingernail
To tell the world we're living
And not just in existence fail

Realizing life is a roller coaster
Ups and downs are norm
To enjoy the highs with delight
And in the downs keep warm

So when the Amusement Park closes
And we check out the final time
All who loved us may truly know
We lived a life yours and mine

Roller coaster is right!

Sometimes I shut my eyes with dread.

Other times I throw my arms up and squeal, "Wheeeee!!"
