So you don't know who you is ay? Oh boy, I staggered out of NTM, singing The Star Spankled Bummer and headed out into the big scary world all by myself. I staggered into the oldies church, but after the novelty worn off, no one wanted to know who the bitter young woman was so I went down the pub and forgot to leave for decades. I thought I found myself at the bottom of a glass, man could I get pissed. Now Downunder men can drink, but I could drink most of them under the table and when they were under the table I had my way with them. I mean I really went through a few men, the good old days, not! Then one day I looked in the mirror and it wasn't a pretty sight, years of booze and men had taken their toll and I was starting to get past my used by date at a pretty rapid rate. Oh I had a successful career but I'd never figured out who or why I was what I'd become.
Then another MK made contact and I let it all out. They didn't care that I was a pisshead with attitude, just asked if I was o.k. after the screwed up childhood. And here I am, don't know where I'm going some days, can't remember where I've been half the time, but now at least I'm enjoying the journey sober. Like Bemused said, I don't want sympathy or some half assed apology, or to be converted back to NTM think, or accepted back into the fold where the wolves and crocs still roam. I just wanted someone to ask, "How ya doing there Aussie, wanna talk about it?". And I still want someone to explain to me how so many perverts ended up in my life and shit on me when I was supposed to be a kid growing up in paradise! Yeah well that's really gonna happen, ay?
Which brings me back to my journey so far.

I'm Aussie and I'm an ALCOHOLIC and I am this way because I got swallowed up by a cult and then spat out!

I've just watched a short video message on the CrossView Australia website.

How ironic the director says the line "..... especially when our own culture has made the truth negotiable". I know he is talking about the gospel but NTM/Crossview certainly take it to the limits (there'a a song with that line).

Oh yeah, NTM makes the truth negotiable alright. Negotiable and perverted.
