Yeppers, we DO!!!!!

Canine Bemused is very spoilt. His every need is catered for and many of his wants. He has clean water in his bowl 24/7. But as soon as we open the door he shoots out and has a drink out of the fish pond. Now judging by the look of the water in the fishpond, I don't think it is exactly pristine.

The moral of the story is, you can lead a dog to pristine water, but he will drink what he wants to. Which is sort of true of humans too me thinks .

P.s. Anyone know what the procedure for doing an emergency extraction of a gold fish ingested by a dog, while in the process of drinking out of the fishpond? Winter seems to be over and the fish are out of hibernation.

Use that endosope at the top end of the dog. If you are quick enough you should see two beady goldfish eyes peering back at you from the stomach .
Then get the goldfish to hang on as you extract the endoscope.

Just make sure you disinfect that endoscope first, we all know where it has been previously

Having been away for several days I return to find the endoscope is still a topic of discussion.

This endscope seems almost as useful as the infamous Swiss army knives.

I dreamed I was a patient
And 22 years ago was the nurse
Then my dream became a nightmare
For it took a turn for the worse

"I'm going to look inside" she said
Reaching for her Swiss Army Knife
"Trust me I'm not a nurse" she said
As I feared for my life

Then I woke up in mortal terror
What an awful awful dream
Never use a Swiss Army Knife
Where only the Endosope should have been

That has made me laugh which is a good thing today.
