Used to live in Wellington so I am glad we are not there now!

Bemused is closer to the epicentre than me.

Didn't feel a thing, but the tv images are pretty dramatic. Mostly cosmetic in the capital, as someone went and built the CBD on reclaimed land .

A Kiwi is a nocturnal bird
Very seldom seen
Only sometimes heard

However in the night
When worms and bugs are asleep
Guess who puts their beak
In soil rather deep

Don't think no beaks been seen
But perhaps been felt a poking
Many a conscience pricked
And funny bone tickled by clever joking

The Palace in London has announced that the Royal Baby has finally arrived and is a male.

All Fanda Eagles who are loyal subjects of Her Majesty, will be out celebrating, so it might be a bit quiet from them.

No name has been given yet, but bets are being taken.

Popular choices are: William, George, Henry, Philip.

Long odds are: Bemused, Raz, . . .

My Husband and I would like to thank you for your best wishes and generous gifts on the arrival of the Royal Baby.

The book of selected poetry from Iwillflyagain and Bemused will be interesting bedtime reading for the little one. The genuine Crossview Turkey feather pillow from 22 years ago, will be most appreciated, once we have fumigated it. And the one size fits all dentures from Raz, work wonders, although my accent appears to have changed y'all. Not forgetting the massive chainsaw from Aussie, that is some machine.

Thank you for the suggestions of a name for the baby, we will definitely consider Prince Raz, Aussie Eagle.
