Bemused, Excuse me but it means my own opinion. Did I make that up or have I seen it before? When I had surgery last year and my daughter was here her daughter would email us with all these letters and we had to figure them out, I was good at it, just bragging mind you. I would like to tell you Iwillflyagain to get out of there and not put yourself through what you are going through but I have found through the years that running doesn't always solve the problem. My heart aches when families hurt each other. I did not grow up in a "Christian" environment, quite the opposite, but my family love each other, yes there have been problems but the love is always there. I want the same for my children. I was told by a very wise older woman that there is dysfunction in every family but it should not stop the caring and loving families should have one for another. I will pray for your family that they will be what they should be, life is short and who doesn't know that? Full stop.

Pamela, thanks again for your encouragement. I have actually tried the leaving thing before. My family are masters at their art. Unfortunately, I am not. I feel like the pawn and they are the players of me. It is amazing how good someone can be at something that has such a negative impact on another human being....and not even know it...or that it is not a good thing. Deception is subtle...and as hard as I try to fight it all, it still feels like I am the doormat on a rainy day.

Oh that's a very challenging point. Not just for Tribers in the mess their organisation is in. Rings true for many daily situations.
