Now that I have had time to get over the shock of your bitter rude off handed comments Miss Hess, I will fill you in on some things I have done.

You say why don’t you pay for your own investigation. You might want to think before you toss such a challenge out to a guy like me.
First you have no BOM committee to stop me if I do choose to do so; you also are forgetting some of us are not tied to a mission income. That means we can raise the money to do such a thing. Also there is a great thing called the freedom of information act.

So the first thing I did a while ago was contact a very large firm that only deals with investigation into military, boarding schools all over the world, missions and other governments for abuse, corruption etc. These are the mercenaries of investigating. No they are not religious; they have no ties to trying to see gods will done. They are cut and dry just legally looking into abuse claims etc. They will tear everything apart flip every damn stone over. So if you are talking about this type of investigation without the entire religious BS that NTM is trying to keep involved in it, then yes we can do that for you, Hess.

Another Firm I have been in contact with is the Legal Firm that sued the Boy Scouts of America and won. I didn't go with them as I thought NTM was doing the right thing. But now with your idea that I should pay for my own investigation and that I somehow owe you and NTM and should kiss your ass because you were forced to do something, well my eyes are once again opened. You do not deserve my sympathy.

Miss Hess, you and many like to call me Immature, that's an easy demeaning word to throw around at a 33 year old man who you know nothing about. But I'll give you a pass on it as it is the only tool you have.
I will repeat myself I have been in the "REAL" world for 14 years and have had to make it all on my own, no little churches to go cry to for more funds, no little pictures of tribal kids to send out to guilt people into to give to me, in a sense I don't have your gravy train.

What have I done with my time, well I worked my way up to be a manager for the American Orient Express, I was in charge of countless things, electrical systems, budgets, firing, hiring, flying all over the US, Mexico and Canada. I have dealt with the president of Amtrak and many others. Check out the owner on Forbes billionaires list. Just one company I have worked for and ran.
So yeah I know a little something about the real world and how to get stuff done.

Now Miss Hess, it seems you think you are paying for all the investigating, I doubt you are. Well not yet. Fact is you do work for NTM and your assets might be considered theirs. So before you start spouting off again you should really stop and think about the ramifications that could happen to you that NTM cannot protect you from.

And now you all say I am bitter pissed off etc., which is a big no. The problem is none of you in NTM know balls when they see them because yours have been taken away. It's called balls to do the right thing. Jesus was one who did the right thing; you might want to brush up on what you seem to think you believe.

Yes you should pay for the investigation into this awful, horrible, reprehensible, sinful behaviour as you are a part of NTM. Full stop.

Well I see that my post generated lots of feedback. I have a right to voice my opinion just as you all have voiced yours. Yes I don't like having to pay for someones else's mistakes do you? I'm not going to lie about that. It is not my fault that those kids were abused I did not abuse them OK. What happened in the past can not be changed it happened and it was horrible. We can change what happens today and in the future so that is what my energy is focused on. Where do you think the money for the MK fund is coming from? The US government I don't think so. It is coming from donations from individual members of NTM and those that support NTM. My husband and I are contributing monthly to the MK fund because we believe that NTM should help pay and compensate abuse victims especially for counseling and medical costs. Are you contributing to the MK fund Yunker? I didn't even bother to read your posts. If you think because I'm part of NTM that I should take the blame for all the abuse that has gone I disagree and think that's wrong. Why aren't you trying to get the individual people who actually abused the kids instead of blaming NTM for everything. A bunch of people from the Senegal field and from NTM leadership have been dismissed and some are paying monthly compensation to the MK fund. That is just the beginning. You may not think that is enough but as I said nothing that NTM does will probably ever satisfy you. NTM the organization was not the one who held little girls down and sodomized them at night it was individual sick abusers. Where is personal responsibility? The less than 20% number I threw out was totally out of thin air I have no idea I was also including in that number the leadership and others in NTM who contributed to abusive environment. I would encourage you all to do all that you can to co operate with Pat Hendrix and the investigators that in some way these investigations can be done thoroughly. They will only be as good as those who are willing to participate in and give as much information as possible.

Mandatory contributions to a liability fund.

I'm not sure I have any problem with that. But, I would respectfully advise NTM to disclose this and any other mandatory "fees" or non-standard withholdings on their contribution website. As an investor, I would want to know that, and stating that 100% of my donation to NTM goes to fund the ministry of the employee I designate is misleading. Yes, the site also says that NTM has full discretion with the funds as required by the IRS. But, NTM is communicating that its discretion is to pass along 100% of the funds to the individual missionary (that is not what is actually "said", but that is what is "communicated"). What this communicates to the average investor is that, after "normal" withholding items such as health insurance, relevant payroll taxes, income taxes, retirement contributions, and other deductions you would see on a "normal" paycheck, that 100% of the remainder goes to the missionary. However, there are additional non-standard "fees", if I understand correctly. Fine NTM, but please disclose properly.

Tuti, I appreciate your previous posts and your care for the MKs.
The GRACE investigation was very thorough and the Fanda MKs and others (most of them) cooperated so the info could be passed on to the right sources.
It appears that it was too thorough for NTM, so they did not engage GRACE for the remaining investigations.
We have heard the comments from NTMers that GRACE somehow failed in their investigation and that we should focus on the present and future and not the past. It could be assumed that supporters are also receiving this kind of info.
WHAT?
There is serious doubt about the current investigation--that it is being controlled by NTM no matter how nice the investigators seem.
So what do the abused MKs think about this? Are they confident about this new investigation? Do they feel it is a good thing to participate? Do they think it's a poor 2nd to what was done with excellence by GRACE? But maybe worth their time? Or are they skeptical now?
Please let them decide and don't push the NTM propaganda on them.
