I remember my mother coming home from some religious convention and telling me that she had learnt that marriage was purely for the creation of children. We had an interesting debate about this, as I am married but have no children. Her theory was that it must be right, because the person who told her was a man and a good christian leader. As far as I know, she still believes this and continues to believe anything that a man who is a christian leader of any group she is in says.

And I wonder how many other Triber and ex Triber's of that era still think that way?
