I was going to put the date my daughter was in Bible College but didn't. It was in the middle '80's and it was at a Bible College/University in the South. I have no connection with NTM except we had a couple who was approved to attend our church in Sydney. They were a good Christian couple so my only experience with NTM other than that is this forum and knowing of NTM and missionaries vaguely. However, even though I have no personal connection with NTM, I am watching and waiting for NTM to fix this horrible WRONG. My association was with ABWE and they have a sin saga of their own but from what I know they have Scott Ross on their side and I know GRACE has been hired to investigate and believe me ABWE is acting no different than NTM. The fact they are having Scott Ross on their side makes me doubtful ABWE will accept the wrong they have caused mirroring NTM. When I say wrong I really mean wretched SIN.

Adult missionaries are still being spiritually and emotionally abused by NTM leaders.
It is not easy to find out where the accountability is at the top.
Or if there is any.
If you write in and ask, there is no answer.
It can be quite devastating, even to people with life experience.
Imagine what the abuse is like for children!

Boy is that a good suggestion!
But NTM does not usually take suggestions.
Maybe they will in this case.
Because it's such a good one. (That's called "rolling eyes" in case someone doesn't know.)

If adults are being abused, (and Mosquitoe Bite from my readings seems to be highly accurate) then it is a logical conclusion that children are as well. If there is sexual abuse still going on, it will be more hidden after all this. Psycological and Spiritual abuse seems bo be NTM policy, ingrained over many years and it is a grey area, because it is so hard to define.
But it ain't that hard to define Sexual Abuse. You keep your hands to yourself and your willies in your trousers when it comes to kids!
Come on sisters, lets take the power back and sort this out once and for all. The NTM leadership are protecting their fellow brothers (and letting many innocent brothers be tarnished most hideously) and every day they do this we know that some perverted Uncle is posting pictures on porn sites of one of our little ones and grooming his next victim.
Oh you may hate one Clapped Out Divorced Aussie Nurse from South of the Black Stump for saying this, but look me in the face and tell me it ain't happening. And if you can't, why the hell are you sitting back while Uncle is abusing the next generation.
You know who abused you: Name, shame, stop their game, get your lawyer to go Pro Bono (you might even make some money out of it!!!!!) For the sake of some little girl in Numonohi, Tambo or whereever else, move it sister!

I wish an outside board was the answer but the mission boards/agencies I am familiar with have outside boards and it does no good at all. You see these men are ladder climbers and they want to join the "good ole boys club." Very few of these men will take a stand, there are now a few women on these boards and they wouldn't help either. Just check out ABWE, BMM and the now defunct EBM, they all have sin sagas of their own and they have outside boards. You can't find out much information about EBM now as they closed up giving their missionaries I think 2 weeks notice, not for sure on the exact time. These mission boards/agencies seem like they are a law unto themselves. Full stop.

My husband keeps saying that a lot of the problems with NTM is the inside board and that only leads to major problems. He is from Word of Life and they answer to an outside board and always have. It seems to work for them. Maybe we need to research why he seems to think it has worked good for them.
