Over two years ago the story linked below was broadcast on WAVY TV in Virginia, where this former missionary now lives. This man abused many children during his missionary service overseas. It is appalling that he still walks around free, and has never been brought to justice. In spite of the fact that he admitted to the abuse when interviewed by a TV reporter, efforts to penalize him for his crimes have all failed.

If anyone reads this who was a victim of this man here in the United States, or who knows someone who was a victim here in America, and you would like to help us in our efforts to see justice done in this case, please PM me. Without your help, we cannot move forward in our efforts.

Your determination and dedication to the pursuit of justice is most admirable.
The call is an excellent one, for research suggests that offending does not stop because a paedophile changes countries, they just hunt in a different field.
I wish you and your team of dedicated justice seekers all the best with this and hope that apathy and misguided loyalties do not interfere with the course of justice.

If the link keeps breaking, you can still find this story by going to wavy.com and searching for Leslie Emory. The story was published on May 25, 2011.

I am praying to the God of miracles for His help in this.

I admire your determination Raz and am behind you one hundred percent.

I know that a pedophile doesn't just stop committing crimes and I pray that if any of his victims in the US see this, they will have the courage to PM Raz.

The news link above has expired and is no longer available. I found this Youtube which covers what the newscast did.

Thanks for the link, it's a good insight into the mind of a criminal and an organisation that covered up many like him. Why do people continue to defend and support this organisation? I scratch my head and really wonder at the mentality of it all.
It must have some psychological hold over susceptible minds because to support this sort of disgrace is a far cry from normal.

A confessed offender who tries to minimize his offense is not a repentant offender and thus remains a dangerous offender.

NowAware, when I read that on Facebook this morning, that is exactly who I thought of: Les Emory.

An offender who has confessed, but minimizes his offenses and is not repentant.

Yes, I do believe he remains dangerous. To this day.

While an offender walks free they have a high potential to reoffend, that is one of the points of having a penal system, to keep the public safe!
If these crimes had been committed within U.S. borders, Les Emory would be safely inside (along with many other of NTMs offenders). Yet due to legal inadequacy it would appear that the safety of the American public is being gambled with and they are not good odds.
NTM and every similarly placed mission will happily blame the U.S. law, but not get off their backsides and demand the laws be changed. Given their wealth, power and numbers, they could quite easily make waves that would make lawmakers on Capital Hill sit up and take notice. I suggested this to Larry Brown some time ago, I still await a reply.

In the meantime the gamble goes on that the offending has stopped, not good odds.
