Yes Bemused. Sadly your poem rings true. My friends who do not profess Christianity believe me of course when I discuss abuse in mission and church settings. Yet my Christian friends act ashamed when I talk about it. To make matters worse one dear friend tells me things happen and I should not fault ntm. Excuse me but molesting children is a disgraceful sin and crime. Not something to be ignored. Thus the reason we post and proclaim. If Scott Kennell had stolen money from the mission we would have seen a different reaction I am sure. From day one.

Good point and one that has already happened. NTM (or Crossview) will move heaven and earth if they suspect that money has been misappropriated, yet the same suspect will be covered up for sexual offending.
And they don't like being reminded of it!

Bemused I sincerely believe your multiplicity of talents should be used to remind CrossEyedView of these issues regularly.

Alas I think a Nuclear Bomb might have difficulty getting through to Crossview what damage has occurred on their watch and what their moral responsibilities are. I'm not sure if NTM is grateful that there is someone handling this mess far worse than they are or are horrified at how callous and bizarrely Crossview is acting.
I doubt there is much love lost between the two and there is unlikely to be a kiss and makeup session.
Of course caught in the middle of this strange falling out is the Kiwis, who seem to have a foot in each camp. Maybe Kiwis should stick to sailing, it's less frustrating.

The thought of NTM Sanford and NTM CrossView indulging in a "kiss and makeup session" is just too much for my tender sensibilities!

Happened to be in Stanford last week. Was driven by the magnificent palace. Was asked if I wanted to go in and see the place. Quickly answered NO. Thousands of thoughts flooding my mind. It is dangerous in there. I might really tell them what I thought is a way that could get me arrested. $$$$$ I saw and why can't they help their own wounded? Why should such darkness dwell in such a place of beauty? A place that blinds the eyes of good people with their stories of saving the lost as they create more lost by their actions. How many MKs have been there and found no help for their hurting hearts? How many MKs and missionaries have been condemned for telling of abuse. I saw many beautiful things in Florida during my week there but the picture that stand out the most is the NTM headquarters a beautiful place covered in evil darkness. Please God take away their blindness.
