Wonder how many prayer boxes still have Scott Kennells card in it and how many actually know what happened, or is it just pulled out and the same prayer offered, with the insertion of his name, after all that is what we did when I was a praying MK.

Actually I was just wondering yesterday if the West Brazil field even knows about him.??? Also a lot of missionaries in ntm Brazil are Brazilian. My whole team consisted of non-English speaking Brazilians. I would translate news of ntm usa for them. Has anyone even bothered to tell them?

My experience with Crossview when there is an incarceration due to sexual offending, is that other missionaries are told "he went on medical furlough" and very few bother to question this. There was also a pecking order of information distribution, the "select" kept the dirty laundry under wraps and the last to know would be the local people.
Has anything changed, or does the U.S. operate differently from Crossview, well I'm sure one of them will provide us with the answer to that one, we might just have to be patient as we wait for the wisdom to emanate.

This situation makes me nauseous.

A creepy 89-year-old, finally arrested for child molestation. After all these years. How many victims has he had? For how long have people known this pervert was dangerous? And they let him get away with it? Just shuffled him off somewhere where they didn't see him anymore, but he was still free to prowl around and find more victims?

Oh, I can just hear him, winning the trust of parents and children in a church, a club, a community: "Yes, I love kids! I used to work with missionaries' children, at a school overseas! Those were the good old days!"

That is absolutely sick and disgusting. He probably did a lot of stateside ministry with children too.
