A little hard to laugh these days......

I just spotted that on internet today and have to agree. I would like to add my thinking that "Silence kills."

We all know from reading this forum that silence - not speaking up for abused children - has killed. Though it may not have killed literally in taking one's life , it did allow criminals to continue to kill one's spirit, one's very sense of being. To destroy the lives of innocent children of whom many 30 some years later are still dying inside.

I am offended that ntm chooses to remain silent. It is unacceptable. It proves my thinking that ntm doesn't care about anything but self-preservation and the almighty dollar.

For ntm silence does mean avoiding the truth. Silence to ntm means (as Bemused said) that with passing of time , crimes are forgotten or even doubted.

For those who have minds to think, silence should prove otherwise. It proves cover up and avoidance of truth.

When some in a group are privy to info and others have it hidden, it eventually causes resentment and it a good source of arrogance. My father participated in this sort of nonsense, where because he spoke with God and others could only access info from God through him, then he was superior to them.
As a mere mortal way down the pecking order, one has two choices. a) go along with this and accept it as a fete a compli or b) take action against it. Strangely for far to many, it seems that option a) is the easier route. Although it seems the times they are a changing.

Geez Bemused. That is one powerful poem.

Painful for many of our silent NTM readers I imagine.

But think of those kids. Yes, kids. Kids for gods sake NTM. Little kids.
