How could ABWE say that GRACE would not find the truth? Maybe ABWE doesn't want them to find the truth! Full stop.

GRACE was impartial in the Fanda investigation.
And BTW, NTM decided to use GRACE and did not allow the MKs to have any part in this choice.
After the fact, the MKs investigated GRACE themselves and decided to support this choice.
Altho NTM probably would not have listened to them if they had had a problem with GRACE.
GRACE met with NTM and with any MKs who wanted to meet (in separate mtgs) to go over the report before releasing it to both parties.
The evidence GRACE found showed that NTM had been very negligent etc etc.
They mentioned everything positive about NTM that they could find.
The problem was--there wasn't much!
How could they be called the victims' advocate?
I hope to see GRACE defending themselves on the basis of truth.

I'm pretty sure the real reason they "fired" GRACE was that they didn't want the report released to the public. I have read over both statements, and believe GRACE over ABWE.

I am so grieved. ABWE didn't even have the decency to contact the victims about "firing" GRACE. Self preservation at any cose, shame on you ABWE. Full stop.

I have read GRACE's statement. I found one point so interesting about the videotaping. When we were terminated from ABWE we had a pastor (we didn't personally know him, just knew about him), That rang us when we were in the States and asked if he could get involved. We said yes. He assured us he would publish anything he found including anything negative about us. My husband said, "Go for it." He used that term before it got popular. This pastor wanted a neutral meeting place and required Dr. Wendell Kempton, the then president of ABWE, and he would cassette tape the whole meeting. Guess what? Dr. Kempton refused to have it taped. I just found that interesting since that is one of the flismy excuses ABWE used in their "firing" of GRACE. Full stop.

My heart is heavily burdened for the ABWE MKs and their loved ones and supporters who took great risks to participate in GRACE's investigation, and now must be devastated that things have fallen apart.

Fellow MKs, we love you.

I am feeling so sad today. We are broken people, living in a broken world.
