Yes Frank Houston was a New Zealander (he died some time ago). I wasn't aware of a connection with the Salvation Army, will have to look into that one. All goes to prove that these offenders have a habit of moving and offending widely. But the pattern seems to be the same, the offending starts off small and grows. The covering up is extensive and is enabled by those who know what is going on, but for reasons unfathomable, do nothing about it.

That's an interesting question. There are some parents in this scandal who do not care if their MK children were abused. What is of utmost concern to them is that the scandal does not leak out and discolour their "glowing" reputation. They would happily hand over a few pieces of silver to ensure the lid remains on the past and if that means selling their own kids, then so be it.

Parents are suppose to love and protect their children and in turn those children grow up and if they have children do the same. At least there are some parents who have realised how their ministries have put their children in harms way and have spoken out. In turn there are children who have had to take the initiative and do what the parents should have done. But stop, why is this even being discussed, if we are talking about serving God why are we talking about child abuse? What a mixed up mess and for the sake of a reputation? We got an update on the Pii investigation of Dr. Donn William Ketcham and the abuse of young girls in Bangladesh. Well, all I got out of reading it was they thanked ABWE for encouraging them to keep on. They mentioned it was a long process and couldn't be hurried. Who wants it hurried? These girls want action against this pedophile, is that so much to ask? Full stop.

It's worth googling the name and seeing the history of this case, how it was dealt/not dealt with and how long this "alleged" sex offender has been active.
He shouldn't have even got into a mission in the first place, but M.D. after the name seemed to have counted for far more than it should.

Alas it all sounds very familiar, very very familiar.
