This is what can happen as a result of publicizing the name of a missionary child abuser. While the offender cannot be prosecuted in the US for the crimes committed long ago in a foreign country, you never know when a child who was abused here in the US by that same offender might come forward because an abuser was named.

I hope Dr Ketcham spends the rest of his days in prison.

This is a very good outcome.

Persistance has paid off, justice will probably be served. Teamwork has paid off and that is what this is all about, each person with a piece of the jigsaw bravely putting their piece on the table until the picture is complete.

Another pedophile dealt with at long last.

And this is the kind of justice that NTM is IMPEDING because of their refusal to publicize names of missionary child abusers who have now been found culpable through their own investigation process!

Their claims about caring for MKs are LIES, LIES, LIES, as long as they are shielding and hiding the abusers in their midst! And with no publicity, Stateside victims will never find out that they were not the only victim of an abuser. They will never come forward in the way this Michigan victim on Donn Kethcam's did.

The missionaries will be safe, and the mission will keep its stellar reputation and keep the donations flowing in.

I am SICK about all this.

For me personally, the biggest dissillusionment and cause for angst with NTM is the whole experience was a staggering array of lies.

It started before we even entered training, recruited by a man who was living a lie and went to jail for it. Sold a lie about how priviledge we would be to serve indigenous people, when many at Numonohi had little to do with the local people and some treated them appallingly. The loving environment which was full of beatings and abuse, none of which I'd ever seen in the secular world. And then the coverups and the lies upon layer of lies. And there in the middle of it was my father, no better than his lying colleagues and getting other family members to lie for him.

Yes it is all about reputation and money. Whatever it takes. And the lies will go on and on and on.

Is there any more news about Ketcham being charged?

This article says he turned himself in, and was arraigned.

He is not in jail though, apparently.

Not yet, anyway.
