Did you notice how the number of seminars dropped in the last two years? That's what I think will happen to NTM, staff early retirements, closing down and consolidating, until it's a shadow.

But nothing will be said, the code of silence will ensure all loyal devotees do not commit treason by spilling any beans. "The work" will go on, just that there won't be many if any doing it. Just turn your heads, look to the right and keep marching.

I thought the Titanic would sink. But instead, perhaps it will just rust away, and with fewer and fewer crew to maintain it, eventually it will be just a dismal shadow of its old self ....

Yes, we can. And yet, there is an odd emptiness to that as well. As much as I didn't like my parent's mission, (Berean), it's dissolution is weird. Like our childhood didn't exist. If it wasn't for "friends" on Facebook from that era I would feel really crazy.

New Tribes is never talked about in any of my circles of my present life, except among my parents, my brothers, and my old dear roomie. So it's like it ceased to exist for me anyway, up until the fateful forum popped up.

The missionary VIPs were the tribal missionaries. Which we never saw working. But there was that hope that their work really was wonderful, and all this was worth it.

Now we know that some of it was a total sham, some a ploy to get little tribal girls alone in a hut with a camera and hard drive.

And that's hard to take.

In conclusion to this ramble, I think Millstones are the best option. And publicity.
