PURPLE pansies To make you smile. Little lady bugs To crawl a while. Creepy spiders To eat the OTHER bugs While you drink your coffee From your coffee mug. Your garden will grow As you tend to its needs. Don't forget to pull out All those nasty weeds. You see tomatoes like sunshine. The corn likes to grow tall. Beans climb high up a pole Before you eat them all. I'm not much of a Gardner With this lousy MISERY soil, But I do have a paint brush, What color is ROYAL???? It's PURPLE you silly, So don't you forget To grow some of that eggplant For it's heaven sent. When you are asleep I will be there, Touching up all your veggies With PURPLE paint that is rare. So, how does that sound To the nurse that we love? The sun shines on your garden From our Jesus above. |

Sounds good to me I like how you paint with verse Gardening is something I enjoy In sunshine, rain and worse Here of course it's winter So the trees are rather bare And the nights are long and cold But it's still lovely right out there I'm sitting at my computer Looking at the trees Bathed in lovely sunshine Waiting for night freeze But even frosts have their place They deter unwanted pests And make them wander elsewhere To be someone elses guests Can't see any purple flowers Maybe they'll be here at spring But can hear a little bird Having a good old sing So you can paint a garden And I'll do so too Just you have a lovely paint pot And I find words will also do |
