Seriously, does anyone know who the EB and the FMC are accountable to? Is internal accountability (if it exists) a good idea in the present situation?

It is probably safe to say that NTM will not be responding further until 2011 due to holiday plans.

Lack of transparency is what started the abuse in the late 1950s and this lack continues to abuse the same victims on this forum. Lack of transparency is another way to say that NTM is perpetuating its old way of covering up abuse by its own members.

Lack of transparency may suggest:

The abused are not as important as NTM's wellbeing?
NTM is in control?
NTM is afraid?
NTM hasn't a clue on how to deal with all the abuse?
NTM has other pressing matters and will get to the heart of the matter when and if it can?

These are fair questions. May not be accurate but given recent NTM behaviour these are not unreasonable.
