Ok, let's stop while we're ahead. I don't want this to turn into us discussing our physical ailments due to age. I used to mock adults for doing that. Can't we just remain forever young? |

@ survivor . . .what are you talking about you look the exact same as when I knew you at Via??????!!! LOL I'm the one with grey in my hair!!!!!!!!!! Sheesh Also, I just realized my earlier post came out SO wrong . . . . With the benefit of age and wisdom and knowing precisely how much I can or cannot push myself, I believe I'm actually taking better care of my body now than when I was attending Via. And with that, I send you back to any regularly scheduled programs now in progress . . . . . LOL |

We have to take better care of our bodies. Otherwise we'd fall apart. I take two college classes twice a week at night. Last night some of the "college kids" were talking about staying at the college till 3am for some reason. I thought, "Wow, and I so badly want my bed right now. No desire whatsoever to stay up late." |

@ survivor: LOL . . .I hear you when it comes to remembering all the foolish things we did when younger. Who WANTS to stay up late anymore?!?!?! I remember when I pined for it; now, all I want at the end of the day is to slide in between cool sheets and sleep! (And that's when I realize I'm old - er!) LOL I mean, for heaven's sake, I find myself yawning around 9:30ish in the evening and wonder what the heck just happened?!! 9:30ish used to be the beginning of excitement in college . . . . |

I yawn all the way through my classes which get out at 9 or shortly after. I think part of it is just sitting still for too long since they are almost 3 hr classes and from being cold. But yah... are we done talking about old age now? |

LOL . . . so here you don't want to talk about age, what happened to the diversionary tactic you employed earlier . . . ? In any event, it's been fun to banter with you, and in the process, see some of the mischievous friend I used to know emerge once again. |

mangotree is not the abuser here. He is here because he cares and he wants to learn and help. I don't think he deserves to be attacked. Those who are survivors of abuse and can gently give their input into how to best say things to a survivor or anything else, I think that would be helpful. I think mangotree doesn't want to offend. |

I read all mango posts. I know he doesn't want to hurt. he did and I had to respond. I get why he said it. I forgive him too. it is important we speak when our feelings drown us. 1 of my therapists told me that. 1 of best advice I was ever told. I practice it more lately and it helps. |

@ sonnet: we may never be able to empathize, but we can cry with you and "hug" you in the midst of the pain . . . . |
