Just a funny story:
When we came back from South America we took a detour through Washington DC to show our kids some of the famous sights. We were in line to go up the Washington Memorial and I was thinking to myself how wonderful it was for my kids to get to see so much of our country's history and how impressive it must seem to them. All of a sudden, my youngest son (4th grader) says, "Look at those pidgeons, they make my mouth water!" The looks on the faces of those around us were priceless! I still can't help but laugh when I think about it

I had a lovely Pigeon
Ernie was his name
He was a lovely bird

I trained Ernie the Pigeon
To fly across the sea
