Anon via girl, the IHART investigation is being paid for by NTM, but the people who will interview you are not going to be NTMers. I expect you will find them to be sincere and sympathetic. I am pretty sure they will tell you they are not there to represent or defend NTM in any way. I think you will be able to speak freely on Tuesday and you will not feel like you are being re-victimized.

My question continues to be, "What happens next?" It is not the interview process itself that has me concerned. It is what the follow-through by NTM will be down the road .... that is what I remain skeptical about.

I was interviewed. They will be kind, considerate, professional. I wouldn't worry about what not to say. Just tell what you know. And prepare yourself--don't schedule anything else for the day. I was in some sort of weird fugue for hours afterwards! Eat protein early in the day and then drink caffeine for mental clarity! Write some notes about what you definitely want to say. Thinking, praying for you. We're in this together.

thats because the first picture was when she was an "Australian", now she is ? a Canadian, all that fresh air and good living has done wonders .
Hasn't worked for me though, alas, still got a face that looks lived in, but the dog is cute.

Thank you all for your kind advice and humor. I was able to also talk with a friend who had been interviewed who reminded me that this is not a therapy session and prepared to be a little jacked up after you talk to them. As for dress code, screw that! I will wear whatever the hell I want and probably dress like a slut or goth just to get those last little "seeds of rebellion" out since Via leadership spent my whole time there trying to shut me down. And then logic just reminded me that this is not Via leadership interviewing me... Oh well... I can't wait till it's over.

you will find a caring and loving team.. I have had an investigative team in my home. They are not make you feel uncomfortable.. They are kind and with a listening ear. They believe you and will put you at ease. Tell the truth. The only ones that will know what you shared is them and you. No one else will know what each person has shared. All I can say is that my experience was very positive

Done with the interview and completely drained. I didn't take someone with me but kind of wish I had. I did set up plans with close friends either in person or by phone for afterwards. They were very kind and caring but I feel empty right now, like I put my stuff out there and now they are gone and now what?
