Donaghy011716 It is terrible what you went through. I agree with what Bemused has said. We struggle to make sense of what happened to us. When we drop the way we were taught to think we don't know how to think. It takes a long time to replace those lies we believed. One of the biggest comforts to me was when I realized I didn't have to be right all the time. I could listen and think about things I questioned. Many things I don't have an answer for and it is OK with me. Keep up your courage you have started and it will be tough but you can make it. Don't push yourself to much pull back when you need to, go hide in a corner. But I know those here are supporting you.

I know we see from a different vantage point as parents.
Painful too.
But I'm not trying to make any equivalents.

Very encouraging. That's basically what I've been doing for 5 years with on and off counseling. It feels like this is just how it always will be sometimes.
