I believe you, Ajax. I have been out of NTM about a dozen years, and am told repeatedly that there have been significant changes in attitudes and policies since I left. I remain skeptical, however, because there are still a number of people in NTM whom I know personally, and many of them are in influential positions today. It is hard for me to believe that these individuals would have changed dramatically in that period of time. "Missionaries need to sacrifice their children sometimes to learn the language" sounds like a quote that might have come right out of the mouth of many tribers that I know. |

MISSIONARIES SHOULD NEVER SACRIFICE THEIR CHILDREN, NEVER! You can serve God right along with your children but you don't sacrifice them. Full stop. |
