For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. Mark 4:22
We know that what happened at Fanda, Senegal is not uncommon to NTM boarding schools around the world. We welcome your story of abuse here if you want to share with us. While most of us at Fanda were abused in some form what we find especially damaging is the abuse of leadership who chose not to protect us at the time in spite of documented evidence and who have still not repented nor sought justice for us today, 20 years later.

If proof is merely someone speaking out, why didn’t NTM view several stories that were being told to them in the late 80′s and early 90′s “proof”?
I wonder what it was about ’97 that made them suddenly think that they had “proof” of B’s abuse? Were too many people beginning to talk? Were questions being raised by too many parents? By supporting churches?
“Dave B. resigned from the mission for other reasons.”
Say, that was convenient, wasn’t it! At least that way NTM didn’t have to deal with the situation. Dave is gone, the problem is gone, let’s get the Gospel out.
